Navis Series Powered Speakers
Sublime sound served up with serious power.
ELAC’s Navis Series answers every minimalist audiophile’s dream of a no-compromise powered speaker. Driven by best-in-class amplifiers truly deserving of the “high end” name, these speakers eliminate the need for external stacks. While most powered speakers rely on Class D digital designs, ELAC engineers have built in 300 watts of pure analog amplification for maximum power and exceptional, natural sound.
Tri-Amp Pure Analog Amplifier
A Powerful Trifecta: Inside each Navis loudspeaker is a Tri-Amp Pure Analog Amplifier, employing three separate amps for each transducer. This setup includes a 160-watt BASH AB amplifier for the woofer, a 100-watt BASH AB amplifier for the midrange, and a 40-watt Class AB amplifier for the tweeter.
Authority & Precision: A total power of 300 watts ensures that each transducer is optimally powered, eliminating clipping and crossover distortion. With a 110 dBA signal-to-noise ratio and a remarkably low 100 uV noise floor, these specs are typical of high-end standalone audiophile-quality components.
Flexible Connections and EQ
Integrate into Any Setup: Local inputs include balanced XLR and RCA for traditional high-fidelity connections. For those seeking a cable-free experience, the Navis features integrated wireless capabilities when used with ELAC’s Discovery Connect wireless transmitter.
Streaming Freedom: Wirelessly stream via Spotify Connect, Bluetooth, AirPlay, and Roon. Simply switch the Wireless to “Off” to return to a pure, no-compromise analog input path. The rear panel also features adjustable EQ settings to fine-tune the speaker’s response to your specific room acoustics.
Custom-Designed Transducers
The Navis series utilizes custom-designed drivers to ensure the amplification and transducers work in perfect harmony. The concentric midrange and tweeter design provides superior imaging and off-axis response, creating a wide, stable soundstage that makes your listening room feel like a live concert hall.
The aluminum woofers are specifically engineered to handle the high output of the 160-watt BASH amplifier, delivering fast, impactful bass that stays tight even at high volumes.
