High-Performance Audio
The mid-sized OPTICON 2 MK2 builds on the MK1 series to create a true 2-way compact performer designed for small to medium-sized rooms.
With a wood fibre cone and patented SMC magnet system, it delivers low distortion, minimal colouration and high power handling.
Fully assembled in Denmark using in-house and carefully sourced components, it ensures precision and consistency.
Aerodynamic Reflex Port
The OPTICON 2 MK2 uses a dual flare reflex port design to extend low-frequency response and improve power handling.
The aerodynamic shape reduces turbulence at both entry and exit points.
Patented SMC
The driver magnet system uses Soft Magnetic Composite (SMC) material to reduce distortion caused by hysteresis and eddy currents.
This results in reduced distortion, improved midrange clarity and enhanced detail.
Lightweight Soft Dome
The 29 mm soft dome tweeter improves performance with lower distortion, higher power handling and extended response.
It ensures consistent tonal balance and dispersion across the OPTICON MK2 range.
Wood Fibre Woofer
The 6½” bass/midrange driver is designed for low loss, low distortion and minimal colouration.
The wood fibre cone ensures precise bass and detailed midrange performance.
High Quality Cabinet
The cabinet features a rigid 25 mm front baffle with internal bracing to minimise resonance.
