The 100 IC8-T UL is an in-ceiling speaker designed for large commercial spaces such as shopping centres, boutiques, hotels, and restaurants. Its adjustable transformer supports 8 ohm or 70V/100V installations, allowing multiple speakers to cover wide listening areas while reducing the need for additional amplification channels. Equipped with a 21 cm Polyglass driver and an aluminum inverted dome tweeter, it delivers clear mids, rich bass, and wide sound dispersion. Certified to UL 1480 and UL 2043 standards, it ensures safety in fire alarm environments, while optimized mounting brackets allow quick and secure installation.

Like the other loudspeakers in the 100 Series range, the 100 IC8-T UL is fitted with a transformer that allows its power to be adjusted and combined with others in an 8 ohm or 70V/100V installation. It covers vast listening areas while reducing the number of amplification channels required.

Quality & Reliability

The loudspeaker is certified to UL 1480, a standard meeting safety measures for fire alarm systems, and UL 2043, assessing resistance to flames and smoke emissions. It is easy to install, thanks to its optimized grip mounting brackets. An optional C-Ring Tile Bridge false ceiling mounting kit further enhances the safety, strength and reliability of the installation.

Focal Technologies

Thanks to the loudspeaker’s 21 cm (8″) Polyglass membrane, the midrange is natural and uncolored, and the bass rich. Another Focal technology, the aluminum inverted dome tweeter, ensures wide sound dispersion and enhanced spatialization. The loudspeaker has been developed to work perfectly with Naim CI Series electronics, ensuring optimum technical and sound compatibility in a Focal & Naim ecosystem.
